Our organization provides essential support to Ukrainian Humanitarian parolees through the Ukraine Supplemental Appropriation to Resettlement Agencies (USARA) Program. Through USARA, we help individuals and families achieve stability, economic independence, and successful integration into the community. We serve Ukrainian citizens paroled into the U.S., as well as non-Ukrainians who resided in Ukraine and were paroled into the U.S. between February 24, 2022 and September 30, 2024. Police have identified a man who was gunned down in Roosevelt on Friday.  According to police, Carlos Ulises Ventura-Zelaya, 24, was shot outside of 58 Hudson Ave. at 10:17 p.m. Friday.    He was transported from the scene and pronounced dead at an area hospital. The investigation is ongoing.     Detectives are asking anyone with information about this crime to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. Police have identified a man who was gunned down in Roosevelt on Friday.

According to police, Carlos Ulises Ventura-Zelaya, 24, was shot outside of 58 Hudson Ave. at 10:17 p.m. Friday.    He was transported from the scene and pronounced dead at an area hospital. The investigation is ongoing.
