Nassau Police Searching For Bank Robber: Detectives
It happened just before 11 a.m. at the Sterling National Bank on Merrick Road, police say.

MERRICK, NY — Police are searching for a man, who robbed a bank in Merrick on Monday morning.
It happened at the Sterling National Bank on 2090 Merrick Road just before 11 a.m. The man walked into the branch and handed a note to the teller demanding money, police said.
He fled on foot with an unknown amount of cash, detectives said.
