Our organization provides essential support to Ukrainian Humanitarian parolees through the Ukraine Supplemental Appropriation to Resettlement Agencies (USARA) Program. Through USARA, we help individuals and families achieve stability, economic independence, and successful integration into the community. We serve Ukrainian citizens paroled into the U.S., as well as non-Ukrainians who resided in Ukraine and were paroled into the U.S. between February 24, 2022 and September 30, 2024. An overdose victim was revived using Narcan Monday afternoon in Levittown, Nassau police said. According to police, a 911 call was received reporting a 27-year-old man as unconscious and barely breathing in the rear yard of a Peacock Lane home, apparently due to an overdose, police said. Upon the arrival of police, two doses of Narcan, a powerful opiate antidote, were administered to the man at about 4:15 p.m. The man began to breath, regained consciousness and was transferred to an area hospital by Nassau County Ambulance Bureau for further evaluation and treatment.Gov.
