Man Robs Merrick Bank
BREAKING: The man stole an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing on foot Monday afternoon, police say.

Nassau Police are searching for a man who robbed a bank in Merrick Monday afternoon.
According to Robbery Squad detectives, a man wearing black pants and a gray T-shirt entered the Bank of America, located at 2020 Merrick Road, at 2:08 p.m. and handed a demand note to a teller. The teller complied and the man fled on foot in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of cash.
There were two employees and no customers in the bank at the time of the incident. No injuries were reported.

Detectives ask anyone with information about the robbery to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
