Police Locate Missing Freeport 14-Year-Old, Police Say

The teen had last been seen Tuesday evening, police say.

FREEPORT, NY — The search has been called off for a missing 14-year-old from Freeport Wednesday after he was located safe and sound, police said.

Nassau County Police said the 14-year-old had last been seen in Freeport and reported missing at 9:15 p.m. Tuesday. Police described him as a Black boy standing 5-feet, 0-inches, weighing 130 lbs. with a thin build, dark hair and brown eyes. Police said his clothing and destination were unknown.

Wednesday morning, police said anyone with information about Baldwin’s whereabouts should call missing persons at 516-573-7347 or call 911.

As of Wednesday afternoon, however, the teen had been located safely.
