Police Seeking Public's Help To ID Armed Robber
The man stole more than $2,000 from a local taxi company, police say.

Nassau County police are seeking the public's help to identify a man who robbed a store in Roosevelt at gunpoint in September.
According to police, the man pictured above entered Millenium Taxi Service, located at 257 Nassau Road, around 7:45 p.m. on Sept. 26. He pulled out a gun and demanded money from an employee in the office. The employee gave him $2,100, and the man fled on foot north on Nassau Road, turning west on Woods Avenue.
The man was wearing black and white sneakers with a reflective neon-colored Nike logo, black pants, a blue hooded sweatshirt with white drawstrings, a blue backpack and black gloves.

Police ask anyone with information about the identity of the man or his whereabouts to call Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-244-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous.
