Police: Woman Jumped on Car of Men Who Stole Her Purse
Woman was at Pathmark in Baldwin when she confronted men who broke into her car, cops said.

A woman tried to stop the men who broke into her car by jumping on their hood as they drive away in Baldwin, according to Nassau County Police.
Cops said the 45-year-old victim left Pathmark on Grand Avenue at 3:10 p.m. Wednesday and saw two men leaning on her car. As she asked what they were doing, the two began to walk away, police said. The woman then noticed the side window on her car had been broken and her pocketbook was missing, cops said.
The two men got into a black four door car with tinted windows that was driven by a third man and started to pull away, police said. The victim jumped onto the hood of the car but the subjects kept driving and struck the woman with the front bumper as she fell off, cops said.

The woman suffered minor injuries and refused medical assistance at the scene, cops said.
