A porch pirate was nabbed by Nassau Police after they say he was caught on video taking packages from two different homes.

According to police, Aaron Young, 36, of Roosevelt, stole a package from the front porch of a home on Grant Street in Roosevelt on May 7, and then from a home on Beechwood Avenue on May 11. Police say the Grant Avenue home had a Ring doorbell system which recorded the theft, and the Beechwood Avenue home also had video surveillance.

Police arrested Young on May 14 without incident. Police say that Young gave officers a fake name and date of birth when he was arrested.
