Pre-K Lottery Being Held To Attend Merrick Hebrew School

Children must be four years old by Dec. 1, 2023.

MERRICK, NY — A lottery is being held on Monday for entrance into the Jewish Early Learning Center of Merrick.

The free statewide universal pre-K lottery will take place from 2-3 p.m.

To qualify, the child must turn four years old by Dec. 1, 2023. It is open to families from Merrick, Bellmore, Wantagh, Freeport, Seaford, East Meadow and Massapequa.

The child's birth certificate (copy or original) is required at the lottery. Two forms of proof of residence (deed, utility bill, etc.) must also be provided.
