- Hear what Nassau County residents have to say about County Executive Blakeman ahead of his 'State of the County' address over at News 12 Bronx. The outlet reports many are complaining about roadway conditions. The 'State of the County' will occur today at 6:30 p.m.
- Police arrested a man on Sunday, April 10, for allegedly stealing an antique firearm from a Mineola store. Frantzcy Dorelien, of Brooklyn, is accused of breaking a window to take multiple weapons from Equilibrium Firearms. (Daily Voice)
- An investigation led to the arrest of a Baldwin man on Friday, April 8. Police say Cristopher Shaw, 43, was in possession of heroin, cocaine, a "Billy Club" weapon and other illicit items. (Daily Voice)
- Read about larcenies in Levittown and misdeeds in Massapequa via Patch. Prescription drugs and clothing are among the stolen items this week, according to Nassau County Police reports.
