‘The Queen Of Mobile Cuisine’ proved she can outdo herself every time! Once again, making the Merrick Fall Festival a Culinary Hot Spot for the 6th year in a row. Chef Gail’s Perfectly Pulled Pork with Hand cut Homemade Slaw, Manly Meatball Sliders and her signature Fried Mac N Cheese Balls was the “Munch On the Street”, with smiling customers old & new vowing to return next year as the weekend long event came to a close. “Kudos to the Merrick Chamber of Commerce....”, says Chef Gail, “The success of this festival comes from the die hard dedication of well organized volunteers, Vendors with quality items, and, of course, a Great Italian Lunch from On the Scene Cuisine. Merrick Fall Fest is scheduled for Sept 26 & 27, 2015. I’m planning the menu now.”

Big Rig Convoy Fall Festival 125 New Highway, Copiague, NY, on Sunday Sept 28, 2014, 10am – 5pm Long Island’s largest and only Big Rig Truck Show and Fall Festival. Sponsored by Convoy Heavy Duty Truck Parts and Custom Chrome Shop. The Big Rig Truck Show takes place for ALL to see. Plus Food by “On the Scene Cuisine” & “ A Cake Lady” and much more incredible edibles Music and bands on stage, judging of the Big Rig Trucks, LI Cares Food Bank, crafts and food, Monster Truck Rides and much more. It’s a fun day to do something different and see the beautifully decked out Big Rig Trucks up close.
