  1. A Hempstead gang member was convicted on Thursday, March 10, of a violent shooting that dates back to May 2020. A jury found Trevor Ford, 30, guilty of shooting an acquaintance in the leg at the corner of Bedell Street and Terrace Avenue in Hempstead. Ford's sentencing date is May 11. (Daily Voice)
  2. The remains of a missing Hempstead dad were found in Hempstead Lake State Park, says his family. Omar St. Hill went missing in May 2020. The family was alerted to the findings on Tuesday, March 15. St. Hill's cause of death hasn't yet been determined. (WPIX 11 New York)
  3. Susan Lucci is set to lead a "night of laughter" at the 'Celebrity Autobiography' comedy show on April 30. Television's most nominated actor of all time will appear at the Adelphi PAC Concert Hall for the debut of the international Broadway comedy show, created by Emmy Award-winning Eugene Pack. (Long Island Press)
  4. Prosecutors are seeking to send a message when it comes to sentencing Linda Mangano, the wife of former Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano who was convicted of lying to investigators. "The public needs to know that individuals who engage in a coordinated cover-up, particularly to cover-up public corruption, will be punished severely," said the prosecutors. Mangano's sentencing is scheduled for April 14. (Patch)
