Restaurant Robbed; Worker Pushed Into Wall: Nassau Police
The person fled the Subway sandwich shop and is sought by police, detectives say.

NORTH MERRICK, NY — A man is on the loose following a robbery at the Subway sandwich shop on Jerusalem Avenue.
The man is accused of entering the shop just before 9 p.m. on Friday, pushing a female store clerk against the wall and simulating that he had a gun, police said.
The clerk, 36, handed an undisclosed amount of cash and he fled the store, detectives said.

He wore a dark hood over his head, blue rubber gloves and a black face mask, police said.
