High School Security Guard Posts Video of 16-Year-Old Boy in Bathroom to Snapchat: Police

A 24-year-old man faces charges following incident Tuesday.

ROOSEVELT, NY - A security guard at Roosevelt High School was arrested for taking a video of a 16-year-old boy using the bathroom and then posting it to a social media network on Tuesday, according to Nassau Police.

Daniel Williams, of North Babylon, while working at the high school on 1 Wagner Avenue, entered a boys bathroom and videotaped the boy while he was using the facilities, police said.

Williams, 24, then posted the video on Snapchat, police said.

Williams was arrested on Wednesday at the school without incident, police said.

Williams, of 111 Brooklyn Avenue, is charged with second degree unlawful surveillance and endangering the welfare of a child.  He was released on a Nassau County desk appearance ticket returnable to First District Court in Hempstead on April 11.
