BETHPAGE —Two Bronx men were arrested on robbery charges for robbing a man and threatening to use a firearm in a Nassau shopping mall parking lot on Monday, police said.

According to the Nassau County Police Department, a man called 911 to report that two men approached him demanding money and threatening to use a handgun as he was walking in the parking lot at King Kullen, 598 Stewart Ave., at about 8:38 p.m. Monday.

When police officers responded to the scene, the 31-year-old victim reported that one of the subjects reached into his pocket and stole his wallet, police said. Both men fled northbound on Stewart Avenue, police said.

After investigating the incident, police located and arrested Nathaniel Small, and Angel Caballero, both Bronx residents and charged them with first-degree robbery and second-degree robbery. Small was also charged with fourth-degree stolen property.

Both men are scheduled to be arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Tuesday.
