Search On For Missing Merrick Teen, Police Say

Police say the teen was last seen by his parents Friday night.

MERRICK, NY — Nassau County police are asking for the public's help as they search for a 15-year-old boy who was reported missing Saturday from his Merrick home, police said.

According to police, 15-year-old Jordan Cruceta's parents saw him leaving their Henry Street home Friday night at 9:30 and reported him missing just after 11 p.m. Saturday.

Police described Cruceta as a Hispanic boy standing 5-feet, 7-inches, weighing 145 lbs with a thin build, brown eyes and brown hair. Police said Cruceta's clothing and potential destination are unknown.

Police have asked anyone with information on Cruceta's whereabouts to contact missing persons at 516-573-7347 or call 911.
