SUV Driver Sought For Badly Injuring Bicyclist: Nassau Police
The victim remains hospitalized from the crash that took place last month in Merrick, police say.

MERRICK, NY — Police are investigating a crash involving a black SUV and a bicycle that happened on Aug. 13 in Merrick.
The male bicyclist, 38, was headed eastbound on Merrick Road when he was struck by the SUV that turned into the Wendy's restaurant, detectives say.
The SUV driver fled, while the bike rider was transported to an area hospital. Police say he remains in serious condition.
