Our organization provides essential support to Ukrainian Humanitarian parolees through the Ukraine Supplemental Appropriation to Resettlement Agencies (USARA) Program. Through USARA, we help individuals and families achieve stability, economic independence, and successful integration into the community. We serve Ukrainian citizens paroled into the U.S., as well as non-Ukrainians who resided in Ukraine and were paroled into the U.S. between February 24, 2022 and September 30, 2024. MERRICK, NY — The new assistant principal at the Levy Lakeside School is a familiar face to students. Meredith Kelly has been with the school since 2015 as a FLES and ENL teacher. Prior to joining Levy Lakeside, Kelly was a world language teacher for grades kindergarten through 8. "As the FLES and ENL teacher, she has supported Lakeside learners in their growth of language proficiencies as well as helped develop an understanding and appreciation of countries and cultures around the world," Principal Libby Trencheny said in a statement. She received her bachelor's degree in secondary education and Spanish from The University of Scranton and a Master of Arts in special education from Saint Joseph's College.Kelly also earned certification in teaching English as a second language from Dowling College.
