Our organization provides essential support to Ukrainian Humanitarian parolees through the Ukraine Supplemental Appropriation to Resettlement Agencies (USARA) Program. Through USARA, we help individuals and families achieve stability, economic independence, and successful integration into the community. We serve Ukrainian citizens paroled into the U.S., as well as non-Ukrainians who resided in Ukraine and were paroled into the U.S. between February 24, 2022 and September 30, 2024. UNIONDALE, NY - Two teens robbed a Uniondale restaurant at gunpoint on Monday night, according to Nassau Police.The duo, armed with a black handgun, entered the New Mei Ho Kitchen on 504 Uniondale Avenue and demanded money from the 40-year-old cashier at about 8:30 p.m.The woman complied with an undetermined amount of cash from the cash register, police said. The men then fled the store southbound onto Uniondale Avenue. There were no reported injuries. Both men are described as 17 to 19 years old and were wearing blue hooded sweatshirts.Detectives request anyone with information regarding this crime to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
