The office of Immigration &amp; Refugee Services is recognized by the U.S. Department of Justice to counsel, process, file, and represent clients before the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and EOIR Immigration Court. Our organization provides essential support to Ukrainian Humanitarian parolees through the Ukraine Supplemental Appropriation to Resettlement Agencies (USARA) Program. Through USARA, we help individuals and families achieve stability, economic independence, and successful integration into the community. We serve Ukrainian citizens paroled into the U.S., as well as non-Ukrainians who resided in Ukraine and were paroled into the U.S. between February 24, 2022 and September 30, 2024. ROOSEVELT, NY — A man was seriously injured in a freak accident by a branch while working for a tree removal company on Wednesday afternoon in Roosevelt. The 19-year-old man was struck with a falling limb on the top of his head just before 4:30 p.m., police said. Officers responded to the worker, whose pulse was lost several times. He was transported to an area hospital and is listed in critical condition. Police are investigating the incident.
