Two Men Robbed Nassau Supermarket At Gunpoint
Police are looking for the duo, who emptied the cash register and then fled on foot.

Nassau County police are searching for two men who robbed a supermarket in Roosevelt Tuesday evening.
According to police, the two men entered JNY Food Market, located at 124 Park Ave., just before 6:30 p.m. One of the men pulled out a handgun and told three employees and one customer to get to the floor. After the two had taken money from the market's register, the store owner entered. He struggled with the men, and then they fled the store. They were last seen heading west on East Roosevelt Avenue.
Both robbers were about 5 feet, 8 inches tall and 18 to 24 years old. The first man was wearing a gray hoodie, blue jeans, light-colored sneakers, a white backpack, a black mask and gloves. The other man was wearing a black hoodie, black pants, dark sneakers, a black mask and gloves.

Police ask anyone with information about this crime to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous, and you could receive a cash reward if your information leads to an arrest.
