Two Women Found Unresponsive in Merrick Revived With Narcan

The women were found in a car Tuesday morning, police say.

Two women in their 50s were found unresponsive in a car in Merrick Tuesday morning, police said.

First Precinct officers responded to the vehicle on Horatio Avenue at 10:45 a.m.

CPR was performed and Narcan, which is used to counter the effects of an opiate overdose, was administered, police said.

Both women were conscious and breathing at the time they were transported to area hospitals via ambulance.
