Uncle Benny's Cafe Hosts Merrick Ribbon Cutting
Started off just serving breakfast, but lunch has been added to the menu.

Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano, along with local officials and members of the Merrick community recently celebrated a ribbon cutting at Uncle Benny's Cafe, which is located at 42 Merrick Ave. in Merrick.
Uncle Benny's Cafe is owned by Benny Lau, of Elmont, and he said that business has been improving since they opened March 10.
"We're building up, growing and getting better," Lau said. "We started off just serving breakfast, but now we have lunch."
Lau also said that he feels like Merrick is the perfect location for his business.
"I love this place," Lau said. "I definitely want to stay here for a long time."
