Vandals Shoot Out Car Windows in North Merrick

Police release surveillance footage of a white SUV being sought in connection to the incidents in several areas.

Nassau Police are searching for whoever shot out windows on vehicles in several towns.

Parked cars in Levittown, Wantagh, East Meadow and North Merrick were vandalized between Sunday and Monday.

Windows in the vehicles were shot out with what is believed to be a BB gun.

A white SUV, possibly a Chevrolet, was seen on video [see below] at the scene of one of the incidents.

Police did not say on what streets all of the incidents occurred, but they did say that three additional cars were damaged on N. Jerusalem Avenue in East Meadow.

The investigation is ongoing.

Police are asking anyone who believes they are a victim or with information regarding these crimes to contact their local precinct.
