- A 28-year-old man was injured in a violent robbery in the parking lot of TD Bank in Bethpage on the morning of Wednesday, March 30. Two individuals hit the man multiple times and demanded money, attempting to pull him from his vehicle. A short time later, two individuals matching the description attacked a 67-year-old man in the parking lot of the Levittown Best Buy. - Your water might look a little funny here in the coming week, Rockville Centre officials warn. Spring hydrant flushing could discolor tap water between April 6 and 12. - There's one fewer bagel spot (temporarily) in Nassau County as of Thursday. Bagel Boss in Carle Pace shuttered for renovations. It's set to reopen with its updated look in late 2022. (LongIsland.com)
- There's also one fewer burger place: Five Guys Restaurant in Merrick was forced to temporarily closed due to health code violations. The closure began on March 21 and was scheduled to end on March 28, but that hasn't happened just yet, Jerry Barmash reports. (Merrick Patch)
