Walmart Robbed; 8 People Sought For Stealing Electronics: Police
The items stolen are worth at least $2,500, police say.

UNIONDALE, NY — A robbery took place last week in Uniondale and police are searching for the people involved.
On Wednesday, the Walmart on Jerusalem Avenue was robbed just before 9:30 p.m., police said.
An investigation revealed that seven men and one woman entered the store and used three different shopping carts to grab electronics, including TVs and speakers, LongIsland.com reported.

The items' value was in excess of $2,500.
All eight people fled into three separate cars and, police said, no one was injured.

The getaway vehicles are described as an older model Ford Eddie Bauer Edition Expedition, a 2020 or newer Nissan black Rogue and a late model silver Mercedes Benz, LongIsland.com said.
Anyone with information on the crime is asked to call the Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
