Woman Held Up At Gunpoint In Her Nassau Driveway
Police say her screams alerted her boyfriend, who came out and scared the robber away.

A Roosevelt woman was held up at gunpoint in her driveway early Saturday morning, and only her screams stopped her from being robbed.
Police say that the 30-year-old woman was walking up the driveway of her Monroe Avenue home at 4:40 a.m. when an unknown man approached her. The man pulled out a black handgun and pointed it at the woman, which caused her to fall to the ground with fear and scream.
The woman's boyfriend heard her screams and opened the front door of their house and came outside. The robber immediately fled the scene and jumped into the passenger side of a waiting gray Nissan SUV with Pennsylvania license plates. The car took off north on St. Francis Street.
