
HYDE PARK, NY — The driver of a car that collided with a school bus Monday in Hyde Park was killed, authorities said. A Red Hook school bus, with three students, a monitor and a driver, was hit by a 2002 Honda Civic around 8 a.m.
No one in the bus reported serious injuries, but they were taken to MidHudson Regional Hospital for medical evaluation, the Poughkeepsie Journal said.
The accident occurred on South Quaker Lane.

The driver’s identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
