1 Dead In Hudson Valley Snowmobile Crash

CAMPBELL HALL, NY — An accident involving a snowmobile claimed the life of a man Monday in Orange County. The incident occurred around 10:20 a.m. at 45 Quarry Road in Campbell Hall.

Police said the man, who was not an experienced snowmobile driver, was on private property when the crash happened, the Times Herald-Record reported.

State police said David White, 34, lost control of the snowmobile and struck a tree. He was ejected from the snowmobile.

Police said he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
