1 Dead In Hyde Park House Fire

The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.

HYDE PARK, NY — A man died in an early morning house fire in Hyde Park Tuesday. His name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

The structure fire was reported around 1:18 a.m. Tuesday in a resident in the area of Farm Lane and Route 9, the Poughkeepsie Journal said.

Authorities said the fire was believed to have started in the kitchen, but the cause is still under investigation, as is the man's death.
