1 Dead In Orange County Car Crash
Police said the crash happened early Sunday morning in the town of Thompson.
THOMPSON, NY — One person was killed in a one-car crash Sunday in the town of Thompson. The New York State Police said the crash happened around 3:40 a.m. on Old Glen Wild Road.
The preliminary investigation found that a 2009 Toyota was traveling on Old Glen Wild Road when the driver failed to negotiate a curve and struck a tree.
Police said the driver and front-seat passenger were taken to Garnet Health Medical Center in Orange County.

The back-seat passenger, a 22-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said this was an ongoing investigation.
