Poughkeepsie Building Collapse: Woman Pulled Alive From Rubble

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — A woman has been rescued from the rubble of Monday afternoon's building collapse in Poughkeepsie.
The woman was pulled out around 8 p.m. and taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries, CBS 2 reported. She had been trapped in the rubble for four hours after a vacant 7-story building at 19 Academy St. partially collapsed onto two other buildings during severe thunderstorms.
""I commend the heroic first responders whose swift response saved the life of a woman trapped by the building collapse in Poughkeepsie," Gov. Andrew Cuomo said in a statement, the Poughkeepsie Journal reported.
