15-Year-Old Shot In Head, Killed In Poughkeepsie
The shooting occurred shortly in broad daylight near the intersection of Main and Clinton streets in the city.
POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — A 15-year-old Poughkeepsie High School student was fatally shot in the head Monday in broad daylight. The shooting occurred shortly after 6 p.m. near the intersection of Main and Clinton streets.
Security footage showed the teen was walking his bike north when someone dressed in black approached him and shot him in the head, the Poughkeepsie Journal reported.
The 15-year-old, whose name has not been released, was taken to Vassar Brothers Medical Center where he died around 8:30 p.m.
