19-Year-Old Killed In Motorcycle Crash With Honda Is Identified By Authorities

The teen was rushed to Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital, where he died on Friday, according to the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office.

PAWLING, NY — The teenager who was killed in a collision with car in Dutchess County has now been identified by police.

The Dutchess County Sheriff's Office said it continues to investigate the fatal car-motorcycle crash, which occurred in the Town of Pawling at approximately 8:15 a.m. on April 27.

investigators say the 2006 Yamaha motorcycle ridden by Kayden Kabashi, 19 of Beekman, was traveling eastbound on State Route 55 when it struck a 2003 Honda SUV at the intersection with State Route 292.

The teen was rushed to Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital, where he died on Friday. The occupants of the Honda were treated for non-life- threatening injuries, according to police.

The Sheriff's Office's Detective Bureau and Crash Investigation Unit is leading the investigation. The Sheriff's Office was assisted at the scene by the Towns of Pawling and Patterson Fire Departments.
