2 Arrested With 137 Fake Credit Cards
Troopers said probable cause was established and their vehicle was searched.

CORNWALL, NY — Two men were arrested for having fake credit cards and more after a traffic stop on I-87. State police said troopers pulled over Shamar M. Wiggins, 37, of New York City around 7:45 p.m. Nov. 14 in the Town of Cornwall for several traffic violations.
During the interviewing of the driver for the traffic violations probable cause to search the vehicle and its occupants was established. During the search of the vehicle and Wiggins, he was found in possession of approximately 69 forged credit cards, approximately 4 grams of marijuana along with an electronic skimmer device.
His passenger Yusef N. Baber, 27, of the Bronx, was found in possession of approximately 68 forged credit cards and an electronic skimmer device. Additionally, Baber was also in violation of his parole.

Both Baber and Wiggins were taken into custody, transported, and processed at SP Haverstraw, where they were subsequently charged with:
- Possession of a forged instrument 2nd degree; a felony (69 counts, Wiggins)
- Possession of a forged instrument 2nd degree; a felony (68 counts, Baber)
- Unlawful possession of marijuana; a violation (Wiggins only)
- Criminal possession of a forgery device (intent to use) 2nd degree; a felony (Baber and Wiggins)
- False personation; a misdemeanor (Baber only)
- Violation of parole; a felony (Baber only)
- Multiple vehicle and traffic violations (Wiggins only)
Both Wiggins and Baber were arraigned in the Town of Monroe Court and remanded to the Orange County Jail. Bail information not available at this time. A return court date of Nov. 20 has been set for the Town of Cornwall Court.
