2 Arrested On Taconic With Stolen Revolver: Police
The pair was stopped for a traffic violation.

EAST FISHKILL, NY — Two people were arrested June 14 on the Taconic State Parkway for having a stolen gun. State police said Charece Y. Boatwright, 29, of Pittsfield, MA and Anthony C. Jackson, 25 of the Bronx, were charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a firearm and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, felonies.
Additionally, Jackson was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.
Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a 2000 Ford Taurus on the parkway in the Town of East Fishkill for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law.

An investigation found a small amount of marijuana and loaded revolver, police said.
The handgun had been reported stolen in Vermont in 2017.

Boatwright and Jackson were arraigned in the Town of East Fishkill Court.
They were both sent to the Dutchess County jail in lieu of $25,000 bail or $50,000 bond.
The pair is next scheduled to appear in court June 19.
