2 Brooklyn Men Arrested With 1 Pound Of Pot

They were taken into custody after a traffic stop on I-87.

WOODBURY, NY — Two men from Brooklyn were arrested in Orange County and are accused of having illegal drugs.

Around 2 a.m. April 7, State Police stopped a vehicle on I-87 in the Town of Woodbury for a vehicle and traffic violation.

Sion J. Sellier, 27, the driver, and Devarr M. Pedlar, 25, a passenger, were allegedly in possession of more than 1 pound of marijuana.

They were taken into custody and both were charged with second-degree criminal possession of marijuana, a felony, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.

Additionally, Sellier was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor, and a vehicle and traffic violation.

The men were arraigned in the Town of Woodbury Court, with the assistant district attorney recommending $5,000 bail or $10,000 bond for each of them.
