2 Dead in Overturned Car in Partially Frozen Pond
The crash, which is under investigation, occurred in the Town of Dover in Dutchess County.
DOVER, NY — Two men are dead after the car they were traveling in ended up overturned in a partially frozen pond.
New York State Police were dispatched to Well Road and found a vehicle about 5 feet off of the roadway submerged in the pond.
The two men, whose names are being withheld pending notification of next of kin, were found inside the car.

The New York State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit and the Forensic Identification Unit are investigating the incident.
Police said it was unknown if drugs or alcohol were contributing factors.

Anyone with information regarding the crash is asked to contact the Dover Bureau of Criminal Investigation by calling 845-677-7300.
