2 Jersey City Shooting Victims Buried In Kiryas Joel
One of the victims, the wife of the grocery's owner, grew up in the village.

KIRYAS JOEL, NY — Two of the people killed in a Jersey City, New Jersey kosher supermarket Tuesday were interred in a Kiryas Joel cemetery Thursday.
Leah Mindel Ferentz, 33, who grew up in the Orange County village, was the store owner's wife, and her cousin Moshe Hirsch Deutsch, 24, of Brooklyn, were mourned by hundreds at the cemetery on Raywood Drive, MidHudson News reported.
They were killed along with Miguel Rodriguez, who worked at the store.

The United Jewish Organizations of Williamsburg and Northern Brooklyn called Ferentz a "pioneer" who, along with her husband and their three children were among the first Orthodox families to move to Jersey City, the Times Herald-Record reported.
Deutsch was said to be a charitable person who spread love and kindness.

Also killed was Jersey City Police Detective Joseph Seals, 39, a married father of five and the two suspects. Officials said the kosher grocery where five of the people died was apparently targeted in the attack.
