2 Kids In Car As Driver Arrested For Felony DWI On State Route 376: NYSP
The East Fishkill man at the wheel was found to have a BAC of 0.10 percent, according to New York State troopers.

EAST FISHKILL, NY — A Dutchess County man was arrested for potentially putting the lives of two children at risk, according to state police.
New York State Police say that on Sunday, around 4:38 p.m., troopers from Wappinger stopped a vehicle driving south on State Route 376, in the Town of East Fishkill, for traffic violations.
While speaking with the driver, 41-year-old William M. Leblanc, of East Fishkill, troopers noticed signs of intoxication, according to police. Standardized field sobriety tests were administered, which Leblanc failed, NYSP said.

State police say that two children, a 9-year-old and an 11-year-old, were also in the vehicle at the time of the stop.
Leblanc was arrested and taken for processing, where his blood alcohol concentration (BAC) was found to be 0.10 percent, police said.

State police said the children were turned over to a sober party.
Leblanc was charged with two counts of felony aggravated driving while intoxicated with a child passenger; misdemeanor operating a vehicle with a BAC of 0.08 percent or higher; misdemeanor driving while intoxicated; and several vehicle/traffic violations.
He was released with traffic tickets and is scheduled to appear in the Town of East Fishkill Court on March 24.
