2 Mid-Hudson Firms Certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses
The certification is the result of the enactment of the Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Act.
RED HOOK, NY — Two Mid-Hudson Valley firms have been certified by the state as disabled veteran-owned businesses. The Office of General Services commissioner recently announced that 13 businesses were certified by the office’s Division of Service-Disabled Veterans’ Business Development.
Anchor Freight Inc. and Renua Energy Inc. are now a part of a total of 354 businesses to be certified as a result of the enactment of the Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Act. [Get Patch’s Daily Newsletter and Real Time News Alerts here.]
The act promotes and encourages participation of service-disabled veteran-owned businesses in the state public procurements of public works, commodities, services and technology to foster and advance economic development in New York.
