$2 Million Lottery Ticket Sold In Hudson Valley
The winning ticket had five correct numbers, lottery officials said.

MIDDLETOWN, NY — Somewhere out there is a winning Mega Millions ticket worth $2 million.
New York Lottery officials said a winning ticket for the Jan. 5 Mega Millions drawing was purchased in Middletown at the Citgo Mart at 28 Carpenter Ave.
The person who bought the ticket selected all five numbers, without the Mega Ball, and played the Megaplier, resulting in doubling the second prize win to $2 million.

According to the lottery website, the winning numbers for Jan. 5 were 20-43-51-55-57, with Mega Ball 4.
The game's five numbers are chosen from 1 to 70 and from 1 to 25 for the Mega Ball.

Winners have up to a year from the date of the drawing to claim prizes.
