2 Poughkeepsie Residents Arrested For Weapon Possession
Police also said there an odor of marijuana emanating from their vehicle.

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — Two people were arrested and charged with weapon possession after State Police conducted a welfare check.
Around 1:30 a.m. April 12, police found a car stopped on the shoulder of Dutchess Turnpike with its hazards lights illuminated.
The occupants of the vehicle were Jada E. Christiani, 21, and Christian Parker, 22, both of Poughkeepsie.

While interviewing them, Troopers detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.

They were both charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a misdemeanor.
Christiani and Parker were issued appearance tickets to appear in the Town of Poughkeepsie Court April 19.
