23-Year-Old Man Dies After Jumping Off Newburgh-Beacon Bridge
New York State Police have not yet released the name of the Cornwall resident who was killed this weekend.

NEWBURGH, NY — On Sunday, a little after 9:30 a.m., New York State Police responded to the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge after reports of a jumper.
Their preliminary investigation found that a 23-year-old man from Cornwall exited his vehicle in the eastbound lane of the bridge and jumped from the right shoulder.
He was located and pronounced dead in the grassy area below the bridge. His name has not been released.

New York State Police were assisted by Town of Newburgh Police.
