Ulster County continues to operate warming centers in four locations because of the power outages.

MID-HUDSON VALLEY, NY — More than 60 percent of Central Hudson customers who lost power during and last the winter snow and ice storm have had electricity restored.

As of 9:30 a.m. Sunday, about 24,000 customers still do not have power in Ulster County. There are 43 without electricity in Sullivan County.

Central Hudson said it expects power to be restored to 95 percent of impacted customers in Sullivan by 10 p.m. Sunday and by noon Monday in Ulster County.
Dry ice and bottled water will once again be distributed beginning at 11 a.m. Sunday at these locations:
- Hudson Valley Mall, Route 9W town of Ulster, former Best Buy parking lot
- Rosendale Recreation Center — 1055 Route 32, Rosendale
- Woodstock Community Center — 56 Rock City Road, Woodstock
Alternatively, because of the extremely cold temperatures, perishable foods can be preserved by being placed in coolers outdoors in a protected and secure location, according to a spokesperson.
