24-Year-Old Crash Victim Airlifted After 'Serious' 2-Vehicle Collision In Ulster County
Anyone who witnessed the crash or was in the area of Barthel's Farm Market and Creamery at the time is being asked to contact NYSP.

ELLENVILLE, NY — State police say a young woman was seriously hurt in a weekend crash in the Hudson Valley.
New York State Police say that on Sunday, around 8:38 a.m., troopers responded to State Route 209 in Ellenville, in the town of Wawarsing, after receiving a report of a two-vehicle collision.
An initial investigation found that a 2008 Honda and a 2022 Subaru were both traveling south on Route 209 when the crash took place, according to police.

The driver and only occupant of the Honda, a 24-year-old woman from Ellenville, received life-saving measures at the scene, and was then airlifted to Westchester Medical Center with serious injuries. She remains in critical condition, according to state police.
The driver of the Subaru, a 25-year-old man from Woodbourne, was not injured.

State police say the cause of the collision remains under investigation. They are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or was in the area of Barthel's Farm Market and Creamery, or near 8097 State Route 209 in Ellenville, around the time of the crash, to contact state police in Middletown at (845) 344-5300.
