2nd Compromise Reached Over Arlington Flag Controversy
Putting one flag on one engine didn't satisfy anyone.

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — American flags are back on a few Arlington Fire District fire engines.
According to an article at the Poughkeepsie Journal, adding one flag back to a truck August 17 did not do anything mollify people’s anger so another compromise was reached to have flags on five frontline engines, which are the first to arrive on scene.
Initially, the flags were put on the trucks at the request of the union, but then the fire commissioners thought they might be a liability. It was also thought the display could run contrary to the 1923 Federal Flag Code.
