3,000 Central Hudson Customers Waiting For Power
The outages are a result of the remains of Ida moving through the Hudson Valley overnight.
MID-HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Almost 3,000 Central Hudson customers are still without electricity in the wake of the torrential rains produced by the remains of Ida.
In Dutchess County, as of 10 a.m., there are more than 1,700 customers out of power. Beacon and the city of Poughkeepsie, with 569 and 579 outages respectively, were the hardest hit.
The estimated restoration time for Beacon is 10:30 a.m. Thursday. The city of Poughkeepsie is pending.

The town of Poughkeepsie has 204 and Pleasant Valley, 114.
Orange County has more than 1,600, with Cornwall the hardest hit at more than 1,000. Central Hudson said it should be completely back online by 2 p.m. Thursday.
