3 Accused Of Gang Assault In Orange County
Police said the victim will require several surgeries to try to repair a broken jaw.

WESTTOWN, NY — Three men were arrested and accused of assaulting another man in a Westtown bar. State police said that, on Saturday, Jan. 19, troopers were called to a report of an assault at the Tamaqua Tavern in Westtown.
Police said that a 43-year-old man had been seriously injured after being assault by three men.
The victim will require several surgeries in an attempt to repair a severely broken jaw, according to authorities, and he remains hospitalized at Orange Regional Medical Center.

On Jan. 22, after surveillance video had been reviewed and witnesses interviewed, Pearce Conway, 24, of Westtown, Patrick Conway, 25, of Westtown, and Tyler Smith, 25 of Middletown, were arrested.
All three were charged with first-degree gang assault, a felony.

Smith was additionally charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor.
They were arraigned in the Town of Minisink Court and released on their own recognizance to reappear at a later date.
