3 Arrested In Catskill On Drug Charges

One of the people arrested was a fugitive from justice.

CATSKILLS, NY — A traffic stop Aug. 12 ended with the arrests of three people, one of whom is a fugitive from justice, on drug-related charges. Around 2 a.m., State Police initiated a traffic stop of a Honda Civic on Route 9W in the Village of Catskills.

Marquis Homes, 41, of Kansas, was found to be a fugitive from justice in Kansas, police said.

He was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, felonies.

Kaylynn Rogers, 25, of Catskill, was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and tempering with physical evidence, felonies, criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.

Also arrested was Skyler Skully, 25, of Athens, for misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance.

All three were arraigned in the Village of Catskill Court.

Holmes was sent to the Greene County Jail with no bail. Rogers was sent to the Greene County Jail in lieu of $500 bail or $2,500 bond.

Skully was released on his own recognizance.
